Fengxian Converter Station is the receiving converter station of Xiangjiaba-Shanghai ±800kv UHVDC transmission project. It is located in Fengxian district, Shanghai. The total land area of the station is 17.48hm2, and the area within the enclosure is 15.06hm2. The capacity of Fengxian converter station is 6400MW and the rated DC voltage is ±800kv. There are 24 working converters and 4 spare converters in the whole station, totaling 28. The single capacity is 297.1MVA.
